We’re recruiting for an experienced HR Manager to lead the UK HR function for a well-established international organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, strategic HR professional who enjoys a mix of hands-on delivery and high-level partnering, and wants to play a key role in shaping people strategy across a growing business.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of the full HR agenda across the UK, working closely with senior leadership and the wider European HR team. This includes defining and delivering the UK HR roadmap, ensuring compliance with employment law, and supporting managers across all areas of people management, development and organisational effectiveness.

It’s a varied role covering HR strategy, employee relations, payroll oversight, talent development, recruitment, compensation & benefits, HR reporting and the rollout of group-wide initiatives. You’ll also work closely with Health & Safety and CSR teams to support wider organisational programmes.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and deliver the UK HR strategy in line with wider business objectives

* Ensure full compliance with UK employment law and internal HR policies

* Oversee payroll, HR administration and HRIS updates

* Support managers with recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee development

* Drive training needs analysis and support leadership development

* Manage compensation & benefits, salary reviews and market benchmarking

* Build a positive, high-performance culture focused on engagement and continuous improvement

* Act as a trusted partner to managers on organisational design, people development and employee relations

* Provide accurate HR reporting, headcount data and social reporting

* Support Health & Safety and CSR initiatives

What We’re Looking For

* Master’s degree in HR or related field

* 3–7 years’ experience in HR management within a complex or multi-site environment

* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice

* Confidently influencing senior leaders and acting as a strategic partner

* Excellent communication, coaching and relationship-building skills

* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

* Comfortable working with HRIS systems and advanced Microsoft Office skills
