The Role and Candidate


As part of our growing UK operations, we’re seeking an HR & Payroll Specialist – UK to manage end-to-end payroll activities, ensure statutory and GDPR compliance, and support core HR operations.

You will play a key role in ensuring accurate payroll processing, compliant HR administration, and a positive employee experience, while working closely with internal HR teams and external payroll partners.


Responsibilities


• Manage the full monthly payroll cycle for UK, including data collection, validation, review, and submission.

• Act as the main point of contact with the external payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely salary payments.

• Verify payroll calculations related to working hours, overtime, bonuses, paid leave, sick leave, and terminations.

• Ensure compliance with UK labor law, collective agreements, URSSAF requirements, DSN, and social contribution rules.

• Review payroll reports, reconcile data, and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

• Support employment lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, contract changes) by providing payroll-related input and ensuring data consistency.

• Maintain compliant payroll and benefits documentation, including transportation allowances, meal vouchers, and leave records.

• Ensure HR and payroll processes comply with GDPR, applying data minimization and secure data-handling principles.

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding payroll, benefits, leave management, and HR-related inquiries.


Key Requirements


• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 2–5 years of HR experience in UK, with strong exposure to payroll operations.

• Solid knowledge of UK labor law, payroll rules, URSSAF, DSN, and social contributions.

• Experience working with payroll providers and/or payroll systems.

• Good understanding of GDPR and HR data protection best practices.

• Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.

• Professional proficiency in English.
