Salary £25,000 – £28,000 DOE per annum

Role Purpose

As part of the Morris & Spottiswood Group’s One Group. One Team. culture, the HR & Talent Coordinator plays a key role in delivering a consistent, efficient and people‑focused service across the employee lifecycle.

Aligned with our values to Aim High, Act Responsibly and Value People, this role provides operational coordination across onboarding, HR systems, benefits, recruitment support and day‑to‑day people administration. The HR & Talent Coordinator ensures all HR processes and documentation are delivered professionally, compliantly and in line with internal policy and sector requirements.

Working closely with HR Business Partners and hiring managers, the role supports workforce planning by coordinating recruitment activity where required, maintaining accurate people data, and ensuring smooth onboarding and lifecycle processes. This enables HR Business Partners to focus on strategic capability development and long‑term talent planning.

Through strong organisation, effective system management and proactive stakeholder support, the HR & Talent Coordinator helps ensure the right people, processes and information are in place to support business performance and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Support

* Lead and support the end‑to‑end recruitment process, working closely with Divisional Business Partners to manage vacancies and candidate pipelines through the HR system.

* Coordinate interviews, liaising with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a smooth and positive experience.

* Prepare and post job adverts across relevant platforms to attract high‑quality applicants.

* Maintain accurate and compliant candidate data within the Applicant Tracking System.

* Support offer administration, including issuing offer letters and managing pre‑employment checks.

HR & People Administration

* Provide administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on onboarding new starters and ensuring offboarding for leavers is accurately processed.

* Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

* Prepare employment contracts, variation letters and other HR documentation as required.

* Work with HR Advisor to support the AskHR inbox, responding to routine queries and escalating more complex matters to the appropriate HR Business Partner.

Systems & Automation

* Support the effective use of the HRIS, ensuring processes are followed and data remains accurate and up to date.

* Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency through better use of systems and automation.

* Maintain dashboards, trackers and reports to support People activity.

Benefits Administration

* Provide the Administrator with weekly reporting and updates to ensure visibility of pending, recent new starters and leavers to ensure accurate onboarding and offboarding of benefits administration.

General Support & Projects

* Act as a reliable coordination point for the People/HR team.

* Support and contribute to HR and business‑wide projects as the function grows and evolves.

About You

* CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) desirable.

* Experience in a Talent and/or HR Administrator or Coordinator role.

* Strong experience supporting recruitment processes, preferably with HRIS platforms/systems

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple demands.
