FBR Recruitment is looking for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to work on a construction project in Southampton area. The role will require both monitoring of a principal contractor and the candidate must be able to act on behalf of the client whilst maintaining a collaborative and positive relationship with the contractor. The successful candidate must be someone who can work independently

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Supporting business unit directors in delivering business objectives;

* Monitoring and working with the principal contractor appointed to complete the project;

* Attending regular meetings with the principal contractor;

* Providing support and assistance to the principal contractor and contractors on site;

* Positively engaging with our client and developing, growing and maintaining our relationship;

* Delivering a high quality service which ensures that services meet our client’s requirement;

* Managing the client’s health safety obligations on the project to deliver a high quality service;

* Advising and assisting the client with their duties under the CDM regulations and other construction related health and safety standards, regulations and legislations;

* Assisting with the coordination of health and safety aspects of design work;
