Role Overview
The HSEQ Manager will lead our health, safety, environmental, and quality strategy across all business functions, ensuring a culture of responsibility, compliance, and continuous improvement. This role is critical in supporting our mission to deliver innovative technology that supports a more efficient, resilient, and sustainable water sector.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s HSEQ policies, procedures, and management systems.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections across office, laboratory, and field-based operations.
Lead incident investigations and ensure appropriate root-cause analysis and corrective actions are completed.
Provide expert HSE guidance to engineering, product, and field operations teams working with water-industry partners.
Develop and deliver HSE training programs to promote best practices and a strong safety culture.
Monitor environmental performance and support initiatives to minimise environmental impact and resource use.
Collaborate with leadership to integrate HSE considerations into project planning, product development, and customer operations.
Track and report key HSE metrics, generating insights that help drive operational excellence.
Act as the primary contact for regulators, clients, and external auditors on HSE matters.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in an HSE management role, ideally within utilities, engineering, environmental technology, or related industries.
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and hands-on approach.
Relevant HSE qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma, equivalent certification) preferred.
