Valor is seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to manage the HR function across all regions. A proven track record within real estate or private equity would be beneficial as well as an understanding of requirements for a busy thriving team.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing full HR support to employees across Europe whilst working as part of a wider Finance and Operations team
- Liaising with payroll providers to run monthly payrolls for UK, Germany, France and Switzerland, as well as the ability to check and approve payroll
- Working closely with hiring managers to manage the recruitment and hiring process
- Conducting interviews where necessary and providing updates to management where required
- Managing the annual performance review process
- Compensation Benchmarking across the organisation
- Managing the on-boarding and exit process of all new starters and leavers
- Ensure all company benefit schemes are up to date, ensure joiners and leavers are processed on time, and process annual renewals.
- Working with managers and employees to investigate and resolve employee relation issues and working with the relevant lawyers where necessary to resolve any cases
- Keeping the HRIS system, HiBob, up to date with joiners/terminations/promotions/holiday balances etc
- Ensuring the company HR policies and procedures are updated and adhered to
- Keeping up to date with employment law and making sure the company works within the guidelines
Key Requirements
- Previous experience working within a business facing HR Manager role is essential;
- Strong knowledge and experience of Employee Relations;
- Ideally current knowledge of employee legislation and best practice;
- Experience of working in change intensive environments;
- Good project management skills;
- Private equity or professional services organisation experience (preferred)
- CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent (preferred)
- Proficient IT skills including experience of Microsoft office (particularly excel, word and ppt), HR databases;
- Proficient English language skills.
Salary: Competitive (+ Company benefits)
Contract: 12-14 months Maternity Contract
Start: June/July 2026
