History teacher, Geography teacher or Religious Education teacher Teaching Job Overview

DMG Education is currently partnering with an academy trust in Hampshire who are seeking an outstanding History teacher, Geography teacher or RS teacher to join their team on a permanent basis starting in September. The ideal candidate will be dedicated, enthusiastic, and possess a genuine passion for Humanities. They should have the ability to inspire and engage students, as well as be committed to contributing positively to both academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver high-quality Humanities lessons to students in Years 7-12.

* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid development.

* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.

* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum.

* Participate in extracurricular activities, including History or Geography clubs and competitions, to enhance the overall learning experience.

* Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and any concerns.

Qualifications and Experience

* A degree in History, Geography, Religious Studies ir Humanities or a related field.

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.

* Proven experience teaching Humanities at the secondary level.

* Strong subject knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of the Humanities curriculum.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to motivate and inspire students across all ability levels.
