Academics are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Portsmouth, known for its supportive leadership team and strong community ethos. The school is seeking a dedicated Humanities / RE Teacher to join their team from April 2026 (or before).
The Role:
Join a passionate and collaborative Humanities department

Teach Religious Education alongside Humanities subjects (History and/or Geography) at Key Stages 3 and 4

Deliver engaging, thought-provoking lessons that promote critical thinking and global awareness

Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider life of the school

Full-time, long-term position with potential to become permanent

About You:
Qualified teacher with recognised teaching qualification (ECTs welcome)

Confident teaching Religious Education and at least one Humanities subject

Passionate about inspiring students and fostering curiosity about the world

A proactive team player committed to high standards of teaching and learning
