Education Personnel are working closely with a secondary school in Nottinghamshire who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities teacher to join a collaborative and supportive Humanities department, commencing in September 2025.
This is a fantastic chance to inspire students in subjects such as History, Geography, Religious Studies, and potentially others, fostering their critical thinking and global awareness.
About the Role:
As a QTS Humanities Teacher, you will be responsible for:
* Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons across a range of Humanities subjects within Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5, depending on your specialisms and the school's needs).
* Creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation, critical thinking, and a respect for diverse perspectives.
* Utilizing a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles and ensure all students make excellent progress.
* Assessing, recording, and reporting on student progress in line with school policies.
* Contributing to the development and enrichment of the Humanities curriculum and resources.
