Humanities Teacher Required

Location: Barnet

Type: Full-Time

Working Hours; 08:30 am - 16:30 pm.

Are you a passionate educator ready to inspire the next generation of critical thinkers and global citizens? We’re seeking an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join our vibrant teaching community starting in March 2026. This role offers a temp-to-perm opportunity, concluding at the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent contract by July 2026 based on performance and organisational needs.

What You’ll Do

As a Humanities Teacher, you will:

• Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and teach exciting, high-quality lessons across multiple humanities subjects, tailored to meet diverse learning styles.
• Foster a Love of Learning: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and curiosity.
• Support Student Success: Provide personalized feedback and support to help each student reach their full potential.
• Develop Inspiring Curricula: Design a curriculum that meets educational standards and prepares students for success in an ever-changing world.
• Collaborate & Grow: Work closely with colleagues to share ideas, resources, and best practices, and participate in professional development opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Education, History, Geography, Social Studies, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• A valid teaching certification.
• Proven experience teaching humanities subjects at the middle or high school level.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum standards and instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for education and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
