Job Description

Position: Electrical Estimator/Tendering Engineer\nLocation: Hybrid\n\nRole Overview\nPrepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects\nAnalyse project requirements, drawings, and specifications\nWork closely with clients, design engineers, operations, and commercial teams\nSupport the delivery of profitable and compliant bids\nEnsure estimates align with industry standards and project scopes\n\nExperience & Qualifications\nThe successful candidate will have substantial experience estimating electrical schemes up to 11kV (experience up to 33kV is advantageous) and ideally possess:\nLevel 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience\nStrong knowledge of electrical industry standards, including ENA and G81\nUnderstanding of civil industry standards, including NJUG, traffic management, and permits\nFamiliarity with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs/IDNOs) and Independent Connection Providers (ICPs)\nKnowledge of EV (Electric Vehicle) infrastructure and renewable energy systems\nExperience using Windebut or ConnectGrid (highly desirable)\n\nSkills & Personal Attributes\nExcellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills\nStrong ability to interpret customer requirements and technical specifications\nCollaborative approach when working with IDNOs and design engineers\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines\n\nWhy Join Us?\nBe part of a leading utility connections business\nWork on a wide range of diverse and challenging electrical projects\nJoin a collaborative and supportive team environment\nAccess opportunities for professional growth and career development
