Overview
We are seeking an experienced HV Transmission Engineering Lead to oversee the technical delivery of major UK transmission and substation projects. This role involves leading a multidisciplinary electrical design team, managing engineering governance, and ensuring high‑quality, technically compliant outputs across complex HV projects.
You will act as the senior technical point of contact, coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and key stakeholders throughout all phases of the project lifecycle - from tendering and design development through to construction support and handover.
The role offers predominantly remote working with flexibility for travel to offices and project sites across the UK when required.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the delivery of electrical engineering design for large‑scale HV transmission and substation projects. Serve as the primary technical interface between engineering, project teams, and external partners. Oversee engineering progress, risks, design reviews, budgets, and programme performance.
