As a CBRE HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems at facilities by conducting proactive performance testing and ongoing scheduled maintenance.
This job is part of the IFM team. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You'll Do:
· Ensure all duties are done in a timely manner.
· Carry out PPM's such as Low-Level Outlet flushing, fire alarm test, emergency lighting etc
· Contractor monitoring, issuing permits to work and ensuring contractors are working to correct procedures.
· Carry out remedial works from the back of PPM's if needed.
· Carry out reactive tasks as and when necessary, from client requests
· Minor installation works
· Be able to build a good customer relationship
· Install, repair, adjust, service and maintain electric or pneumatic control systems used for building heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment, including calibration of related instruments, gauges, and control components.
· Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
· Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify the best course of action for equipment modifications.
· Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
· Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
· Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
· Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.
· Work within broad guidelines and policies.
· Explain difficult or sensitive information.
Skills and Qualifications:
City & Guilds Mechanical/Electrical discipline competency, Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent apprenticeship
City & Guilds Level 2 Award in F Gas and ODS Regulations: Category 1 or equivalent
Electrical knowledge and experience would be desirable
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 20kg. or more.
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Experience in working with a CAFAM system. Examples include Maximo.
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

· The property is private dwelling located outside of Oakham; therefore, access to reliable transportation is essential.
· Seasonal overtime opportunities may be available in addition to standard weekly hours.
