Position  - HVAC Engineer Location  – Preston to work the Northwest Job Type:  Full-Time, Permanent Starting Salary/Package : £38,000 – £43,000, Van/Fuel Card, Death in Service, OT available, 32 days holiday inc banks, & more Purpose of the Role To install, service, maintain, and repair HVAC systems (including air conditioning, ventilation, and commercial heating units) across a variety of commercial and public sector sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client SLAs. Key Responsibilities Service, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment, including: Split & multi-split AC units VRV/VRF systems AHUs, FCUs, ventilation/extraction systems Commercial gas boilers and heating systems (if qualified) Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems Carry out PPMs and respond to reactive callouts Complete commissioning and installation of new HVAC systems Ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations and relevant health & safety standards Maintain accurate service reports, job records, and digital logs Collaborate with other trades Provide excellent customer service to clients on-site Uphold professionalism, safety, and quality workmanship
