Position: Hydraulic Test Technician Location: Gloucester type of position: PermanentWorking hours: 37 hours per week flex start and finishSalary: 35,000 per annum to £38,000 Hydraulic Test Technician required by industry leading engineering company to work at their Gloucester site. The successful candidate will be responsible for the test of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical assemblies. Detailed written work instructions are followed in accordance with strict Aviation standardsMain Duties of Hydraulic Test Technician The test of units following strict guidelines and instructions set by the Company and its customers, in accordance with required Aviation standardsTest of Hydraulic componentsUsing appropriate test facilities perform required tests to the relevant specification recording results as necessary.Ensure traceability is maintained throughout the test processesFault find, strip down and repair of componentsSupporting engineering/ Quality Investigations and project workComplete self-inspection of components and related cleaning to enable Quality Inspection and control checks to be carried out. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Ability and experience of working on mechanical or hydraulic components.
