Clean production areas, machinery, and equipment to strict hygiene standards Follow Cleaning Instruction Cards (CIC) using correct chemicals and equipment Maintain hygiene across floors, walls, drains, machinery, and communal areas Ensure full compliance with COSHH and chemical handling procedures Complete and sign off daily, weekly, and scheduled cleaning records Support hygiene verification processes including swabbing and validation checks What we’re looking for in a Hygiene Operative
Previous experience in hygiene, cleaning, or food production environments A full, UK driving licence (essential) Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe chemical handling Experience following structured cleaning schedules and compliance processes Ability to work with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals Understanding of hygiene standards within a manufacturing setting Working hours – both day & night shifts are available and can be discussed upon application.
