We are looking for a dedicated Hygiene Supervisor to join our team in a fast-paced food manufacturing and fulfilment environment. You will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and contributing to a safe working environment. You will be hard working, flexible and have an eye for detail and a passion for the role that you do.
Main duties and responsibilities Supervising and delegating tasks within the hygiene team to ensure tasks are completed with precision and efficiency. Development of cleaning schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., BRC, HACCP). Managing administrative tasks such as completion of relevant paperwork, stock taking and online ordering of hygiene consumables. Conducting routine swabbing activities to monitor and verify the effectiveness of cleaning procedures. Conducting daily inspections of work areas, verifying full compliance with required hygiene standards. Providing team cover during absence/holidays.
