This is an exciting opportunity for an IC Layout Engineer to join a growing silicon design company based in Cambridge.

This is an ideal opportunity for an engineer with up to 8-10 years of IC Layout experience (less experienced candidates will also be considered).

The role is part of a brand-new IC design team and will offer the chance for an IC Layout Engineer to really make an impact. He/she will translate schematic designs into layout solutions to achieve the specification and project schedule and also have the chance to delve into IC design work. Being a small team, my client offers a fast-paced, dynamic working environment in which you will be required to wear different hats.

The right candidate will be degree-qualified, with several years’ prior experience working in IC Layout. Excellent communication skills are needed, together with the drive and ambition to contribute to a new up and coming start-up.

Skills are required in some or all of the following:

• DRC and LVS
• Top Level Verification
• Cadence IC design suite of tools
• Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design skills/knowledge
• Parasitic extraction and evaluation
• Layout of block level designs from scratch, working on schematic capture and simulation of the designs
