We’re excited to introduce a new opportunity for an IFRS 17 Financial Reporting Analyst to join the innovative AXA - Global Healthcare team in Tunbridge Wells on a full-time, permanent basis. In this key role, you’ll deliver accurate, insightful, and impactful financial performance reporting primarily to AXA Global Healthcare CFO, Executive Committee and to the AXA Group. Collaborating closely with Finance, Reserving, and Actuarial teams, in this newly created role, you’ll help shape and improve our reporting processes and ensure high standards of governance across our financial reporting. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) towards the end of 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.

What you’ll be doing:
Leading IFRS 17 financial performance reporting for actuals, budgets and reforecasts, including insightful commentary on variances. Building sound relationships across Finance, Reserving, and Actuarial teams to produce reliable and insightful reporting to AXA Global Healthcare CFO and Executive Committee, and to the AXA Group. Managing a central store for actuals, plans, and forecasts with robust controls and governance. Delivering accurate and timely IFRS 17 calculations, in compliance with the standard. Developing, documenting and maintaining robust IFRS 17 calculation processes and tools, ensuring clarity and consistency, in compliance with the standard and the industry updates. Creating and maintaining a risk & opportunity log to support effective performance management and continuous improvements of our processes and tools.

What you’ll bring:
ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified. Strong Proven technical skills and a solid grounding in financial reporting within insurance industry or financial services. IFRS 17 technical knowledge together with a sound understanding of reserving or capital modelling principles would be advantageous. Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Business and commercial acumen. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritise effectively to meet deadlines. Proactive, motivated, and adaptable with a “can-do” attitude. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
