DCT Recruitment are seeking proactive Import Operations / Customer Service Operative to join our client’s team in Liverpool. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day freight forwarding operations across air, sea, and/or road imports and exports.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle daily freight forwarding operations for imports and exports (air, sea, and/or road) Liaise effectively with clients, carriers, and overseas agents to arrange and manage shipments Deliver high-quality customer service by responding promptly to customer enquiries Prepare and process shipping documentation, including customs clearance paperwork Monitor shipments and keep customers informed of status updates and delivery timelines Resolve operational issues in a timely and professional manner Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using internal systems
