If you enjoy variety, problem-solving, and being part of a collaborative group that genuinely looks out for one another, you'll feel right at home here.Job DescriptionAs an Incident Advisor, you'll be one of the first people our clients speak to when something goes wrong. The calls you take will range from simple customer-service queries to property damage incidents and, occasionally, the early stages of an environmental emergency. Most of your work will be routine; some of it will require clear thinking and confident decision making.Your week will be a mix of taking calls, logging new instructions, managing small property damage claims, giving safety advice and coordinating spill response when needed. You'll work closely with your teammates to make sure the phone lines are covered and nothing gets missed.You don't need to be a technical specialist on day one. We'll train you thoroughly and you'll always have experienced colleagues to support you. What matters most is that you're practical, calm on the phone, good at asking questions and comfortable juggling different tasks.Once you've completed training and probation, you'll join our out-of-hours rota (typically 5-6 shifts per month), with additional pay and full backup from senior staff and a Hazmat specialist.QualificationsWe're looking for someone who is:Clear, calm, and confident on the phonePractical and good at using common senseComfortable making decisions and standing by themAble to juggle multiple tasks without getting flusteredFriendly, approachable, and good with peopleOrganised and able to keep accurate notes and updatesHappy working in a team where everyone supports each otherHelpful experience (not essential):Construction or building-related knowledge (useful for property damage claims)Customer-service experienceExperience in a fast-moving or multi-tasking environmentExposure to transport, logistics, or emergency response workOther essentials:Clean UK driving licenceRight to work in the UKComfortable using Microsoft OfficeAdditional InformationAdler and Allan are committed to fostering diversity and inclusion in our workplace.
