Role: Industrial Electrician
Location: Glasgow
Salary: Up to £40,000 Depending on experience
My client is looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician to work within industrial environments carrying out installation, maintenance, and fault-finding on a wide range of electrical systems and equipment.
Responsibilities include:
Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical systems
Fault-finding on motors, control panels, switchgear, and distribution systems
Working with 3-phase systems and industrial machinery
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
Testing and inspection of electrical installations
Ensuring compliance with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards
Supporting production teams to minimise downtime
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience working with 3 phase systems and industrial control equipment
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Full UK driving licence
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
PLC fault-finding knowledge
Experience within manufacturing, heavy industry, utilities, or FMCG
Experience with motors, inverters, and control systems
IPAF or PASMA certification
