: Industrial Maintenance Technician - Level 2 (3rd Shift)

Position Summary: As an Industrial Maintenance Technician Level 2 on the 3rd shift, you will support our manufacturing operations by performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance. You will work on continuous improvement activities and assist senior staff to ensure machine reliability and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform assigned preventative maintenance (PM) and countermeasure activities. Identify and repair technical problems with equipment, documenting all actions. Assist senior technicians and engineers on team projects and daily maintenance duties. Maintain cleanliness of the maintenance area.

Required Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of On-the-Job Training (OJT) in maintenance or engineering, or a 2-year/4-year technical degree. Knowledge & Skills:

Basic to entry-level industrial maintenance knowledge. Knowledge of AC/DC electronic power controls, safety circuits, and integrated circuit schematics. Demonstrated knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics, Pneumatics, PLC, and Robot Systems. Hand/robotic soldering experience. Ability to use visual, mechanical, and electrical tools to diagnose and repair equipment. Lean Manufacturing Training.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Manufacturing environment, 8 hours per day. Ability to lift 40 lbs. Approximately 4 hours per day of bending.

Wage scale starts at $25.55 and increases over an 8 step OJT type program

Experience: Minimum of five years in machining environment performing manual programming and CNC operation. Uses CNC machines in a prototype environment.

Knowledge: Familiar with set-up and operation of large 3-5 axis vertical machines along with small manual machines. Knowledge of the metric system.

Required Skills: CNC G code programming skills. Strong communication skills. Strong investigation and analytical skills. Self-motivated and ability to work with limited supervision. Computer skills (Microsoft office applications – Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Desired Skills: Basic CAD skills. Tool and die manufacturing experience. Smirt DieNc programming experience. Mastercam shop floor programming. Ten+ years machining large die castings with CNC equipment. Familiar with use of Fanuc, Fidia, and Okuma machine controls.

Degree: High School diploma. Trade School and/or Apprenticeship Tool & Die Program .

Position Factors: Primary shift will be either 2nd (2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.) but must be flexible to work any shift.
