Job Description
Law Business Research is seeking an Information Security Manager to oversee and maintain the security posture of Microsoft, Azure, and Sentinel environments. The role involves conducting security assessments, monitoring security events, ensuring compliance with industry standards, collaborating with IT teams, providing security training, managing security incidents, and staying updated on cybersecurity threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee security of Microsoft, Azure, and Sentinel environments
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analysis
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents; lead incident response
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with IT teams on security solutions
- Provide security awareness training to employees
- Manage security incidents
- Stay informed on cybersecurity trends
- Coordinate projects with the Head of IT
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- At least 5 years of experience in information security, focusing on Microsoft, Azure, and Sentinel
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks like ISO and GDPR
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with network devices and concepts like VPNs and VLANs
- Experience managing security incidents
- Excellent communication skills across all staff levels
- 3+ years as an Information Security Manager
- Preferred certifications: Security+, Microsoft Azure Sentinel (LBR funded)
