Job Description
This London-based hedge fund is looking to hire a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in an all-encompassing position that will allow you to upgrade and modernise the Windows and Linux environments, while also touching on both the Network and Security estate.
This will be a project-oriented role, with a separate End User Support team to take care of the day-to-day BAU and Support. You'll be automating with PowerShell or Bash, working on the scalability of the Systems and increasing network performance (primarily Cisco-based).
As part of a lean global team that spans across the UK, US and APAC - Naturally, you will have autonomy within this role and scope to take on and lead projects. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders across the company, including front office and investment teams, to ensure the infrastructure they rely on is efficient, stable, and updated to work with the latest systems.
This role is primarily office-based, with one day a week 'Work from Home'.
Expected salary between £120,000 - £150,000 + Bonus
Experience working within the Investment/buy-side space is preferable, however is not a requirement.
