Infrastructure Engineer

A leading global financial services organisation with a long-established presence across international markets is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join its Infrastructure Operations team. The business operates in a highly regulated environment, supporting mission-critical platforms used by millions of customers worldwide.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Windows-focused engineer who enjoys operational work, security hardening, and working within enterprise-scale infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing

*

Supporting and administering Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments

*

Managing Active Directory, GPOs, DNS and authentication services

*

Supporting patching and vulnerability remediation activities

*

Monitoring infrastructure health, responding to incidents and alerts

*

Supporting virtualised platforms (VMware / Hyper-V)

*

Assisting with Citrix, backup and recovery platforms (e.g. Veeam)

*

Contributing to infrastructure upgrades, migrations and improvement projects

What we’re looking for

*

2+ years’ experience in a Windows Infrastructure / Systems Administration role

*

Strong Windows Server and Active Directory experience

*

Exposure to patch management and security remediation

*

Experience supporting virtualised environments

*

Comfortable working in structured, enterprise environments

Nice to have

*

Citrix (Virtual Apps & Desktops / NetScaler)

*

Backup & DR solutions

*

ITIL-based operations experience
