Working Hours 3 shift rotation of: 06:00-14:00 / 22:00-06:00 / 14:00-22:00 The overall purpose of this position is to ensure that the injection moulding machines are set up and are running correctly. Ensure that component quality is maintained, and staff are deployed effectively. Main Responsibilities Assisting the Injection Moulding Team with the development of new tooling and moulding programs. Safe and efficient tool changes (last off through to first off) of existing tools using pre-set programs. Ensure that all ancillary machinery is set up correctly. Material handling, including material and colour changes, mixing, drying and granulating. Ensure and confirm that first offs meet relevant quality standards. Utilisation of staff to assist with tool changes, material changes, and general operation of the department. Actively participate in process improvement activities. Additional Tasks Must be able to start-up and shut-down the entire department including moulding machines and all ancillary equipment.
