We are looking for a proactive and skilled Injection Moulding Technician to support the efficient production of high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in maintaining performance, quality, and safety standards while supporting continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Set and operate injection moulding machines and nailers to required cycle times
*
Carry out efficient tool changes to minimise downtime
*
Monitor product quality and resolve processing/tooling issues
*
Maintain stock levels of raw materials (PP, masterbatch, nails)
*
Support packing operations and respond to machine breakdowns
*
Ensure shop floor standards are maintained in line with 5S
*
Complete safety, QC, and production documentation
*
Support and train Production Shift Assistants
*
Cover Lead Technician duties when required
Skills & Requirements:
*
The successful candidate must have proven experience processing injection moulding machines. This is not a trainee position, so you must be fully competent and qualified in machine processing and tool changes.

Strong understanding of health & safety standards
*
Forklift truck licence (or willing to obtain)
*
Organised, quality-focused, and able to work under pressure
*
Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong problem-solving skills
Working Hours & Benefits:
*
Circa £35,000 per annum
*
Optional weekend overtime
*
Monday - Friday, 3 shifts (6-2, 2-10, 10-6)
*
25 days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays
*
Contributory pension scheme
