Inspector (CAT 4) Pressure Equipment - Humberside Region

Risktec Resourcing, part of the TUV family, is assisting TUV Rheinland Industrial Services (TRIS) in sourcing an Inspection Engineer for the Southern Region (UK).

Job Summary: Inspection of pressurized static equipment such as vessels, tanks, piping, relief devices to meet regulatory and client requirements.

Job Description: Reporting to the Local Head of Department / Team Leader, coordinating with team members for large shutdowns, and with CAT 2 Inspection Engineers on repairs and fitness for service to define optimal solutions.

Education:

• Qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Engineering Technician status desirable.
• 5 years of experience in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., mechanical technician).

Experience & Skills:

• Mechanical engineering background.
• Experience in the Chemical and/or Oil & Gas sectors.
• Understanding of engineering principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
• Appreciation of pressure equipment.
• Experience with non-destructive examination techniques (NDT).

Salary/Rates: Competitive salary/rate plus company bonus scheme.
