This hybrid role combines on-the-road installation and servicing work with warehouse duties during quieter periods, giving you variety and stability throughout the year.When working on the road, youll start early at 05:00, with an approximate finish 14:00 15:00 (this is traffic dependent). During warehouse periods, start times are later, typically 08:00 09:00, finishing around 17:00 18:00.What Youll ReceiveWeekly pay every Friday.45 hours per week (including a fully paid 30-minute lunch break)Overtime opportunitiesStaff discount on fitness equipment (after successfully completing probation)29 days paid holiday (including bank holidays).Additional 5 days unpaid holiday.On the job training.Free onsite car parking.Supportive, close-knit team environment.Road-Based ResponsibilitiesAs an Installation & Service Engineer, you will include (but not limited to):Deliver, install, and service a wide range of fitness equipment, (treadmills, multi-gyms, cross-trainers, cycles and more).Work In private homes and commercial premises across the UK.Represent the company professionally at every visitStart at 05:00, Monday to Friday, with overtime available.During quieter periods, youll support the warehouse team with a later start time.Warehouse ResponsibilitiesYour warehouse duties will include (but not limited to):Operating labour-saving equipment such as FLT, Bendi Truck.Using RF scanners to collate and put away goods and parts.Loading outbound vehicles.Receiving, checking, and preparing returned goods for stocking.Assembling or repairing returned items and showroom products.Packing and allocating goods and parts.Picking, replenishing of stock.Unload containers and lorries using mechanical handling equipment or manual teamwork.What Were Looking ForPhysically fit and able to lift and carry heavy items, including up and down stairs.Confident using hand tools, with an aptitude for assembling or repairing products (full training provided).Able to work independently and as part of a team.Holder of a UK manual driving licence with at least 2 years driving experience (for insurance purposes).Smart, presentable, and comfortable interacting with customersStrong verbal and written communication skills.Positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to seeing tasks throughCounterbalance forklift licence preferred; Pivot Steer, (Bendi/Flexi), is an advantage.About Fitness SuperstoreFounded in 1994, Fitness Superstore are the UKs leading Fitness Equipment Specialist.
