Installation Engineer / Pipefitter / Pipework Engineer required to join a global, leading engineering manufacturer.

The successful Installation Engineer / Pipefitter / Pipework Engineer will be field based covering Manchester and surrounding areas, responsible for pipework and system installations on various compressed air products such as compressors, blowers, dryers, nitrogen generators, air filtration and similar compressed air / pneumatic equipment.

The successful Installation Engineer / Pipefitter / Pipework Engineer must have a mechanical engineering background in pipework and mechanical equipment installations. Full product training is provided.

The Installation Engineer / Pipefitter / Pipework Engineer Role
Pipework and system installations on various compressed air products such as compressors, blowers, dryers, nitrogen generators, air filtration and similar compressed air / pneumatic equipment.
Installing compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
Installations are carried out in galvanized, Stainless Steel, aluminium, trans air aluminium, mapress pipework systems.
Installation and mechanical fitting of compressed air systems.
Carry out installation training and calibration on all types of compressed air and pneumatic equipment.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Commutable to cover Manchester and surrounding areas.
The Installation Engineer / Pipefitter / Pipework Engineer Requirements
Previous experience as a Pipefitter, Pipework Engineer, Installation Engineer, Installation Technician, Mechanical Engineer or similar.
Mechanical engineering background in pipework installations on mechanical products / systems.
Experienced in pipework Installations is essential.
IPAF, CSCS or FGas certification are advantageous.
Able to hit the ground running on installing mechanical systems and pipework.
This is a homebased role covering the North West UK therefore must be willing to travel.
