Job Description
Installations Manager
Location: Home Based - East of England (North Home Counties, East Anglia and Essex)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a market leading furniture manufacturer who are looking to recruit an Installations Manager to oversee operations across their expanding bespoke furniture portfolio. If you have strong organisational and management skills with experience of joinery projects and a commitment to delivering exceptional workmanship, this could be the ideal next step in your career.
This role is home based covering the East of England – Berkshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support teams of self-employed carpenters, ensuring clear communication, strong performance, and consistent quality.
Plan and coordinate regional workloads, allocating resources efficiently to maintain smooth project delivery.
Run pre-start meetings to confirm project requirements, timescales, and site safety expectations.
Champion health and safety compliance, ensuring best practice across all sites.
Uphold high standards of workmanship, ensuring every project meets company and client expectations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, contractors, and clients.
About You
Strong understanding of carpentry or related trades.
Proven track record of managing self-employed tradespeople.
Exceptional organisational, planning, and communication skills.
Solid knowledge of current health and safety procedures and legislation.
Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Existing trade contacts to help grow the installer network (desirable).
CSCS and SSSTS are advantageous but not essential.
