Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Installation / Service Manager to lead and develop a growing service, maintenance, and installation function.
This is a key role focused on driving profitable service revenue, managing nationwide installation projects, and building a reliable subcontractor network. You will take full ownership of projects from order through to client sign-off, ensuring high standards of delivery, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Service & Installation Management
Oversee all service, maintenance, and installation activities from order to completion
Manage rollout programmes requiring installation, ensuring timely and successful delivery
Develop and implement call-out procedures for service contracts
Conduct site surveys and produce installation specifications
Commercial & Sales Support
Support and contribute to the growth of service and maintenance contract sales
Work closely with sales teams to identify and develop opportunities
Lead pricing and cost negotiations to ensure profitability
Subcontractor Management
Build and manage a UK-wide network of subcontractors
Oversee subcontractor performance, onboarding, and training
Ensure work is delivered to required quality and compliance standards
Project & Stakeholder Management
Act as the key point of contact for site and client communication
Coordinate internal teams and external contractors
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
Reporting & Performance
Produce monthly reports on cost performance and delivery metrics
Monitor:
Service and maintenance costs vs revenue
Installation costs vs revenue
Project timelines and completion rates
Drive continuous improvement across service delivery
Key Skills & Experience
5–10 years’ experience in a similar service, contracts, or installation management role
Strong background in service/maintenance contract sales and delivery
Proven experience managing subcontractors and outsourced services
Solid project management experience, including large-scale rollouts
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
Experience working with site contacts and managing client relationships
Knowledge of on-site Health & Safety requirements
Ability to read and interpret technical/site drawings
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Qualifications
CITB certification (preferred)
Full UK driving licence
