We are delighted to represent a prestigious, multinational electromechanical manufacturing and engineering organisation in their appointment of an electromechanical Installation Technician Working on an innovative new product range, the installation technician will work with clients around Europe, installing and then monitoring the performance of new asset management equipment in the field.This is a very varied role which will combine technical and project management skill sets, and involve significant client and some supplier interaction, and some travel mainly in Europe. Key skillsQualified with a recognised apprenticeship ideally electromechanical/multiskilledExcellent fault finding and diagnostic skillsExperience in maintenance engineering, or field service engineering or in installation engineering, ideally with some client facing experience Safety conscious an IOSH qualification would be ideal Project management skills Skilled in data analysisStrong verbal and written communication skills there will be some report writing involvedMost importantly we seek an energetic and self-starting problem solver, confident with customers in different settings and cultures, with a high degree of common sense, a calm demeanour and a good level of independence. This role will involve travel mainly in Europe, estimated 1 week per month, so flexibility is critical to this post.
