Job Description

We are currently recruiting for our client for an experienced Instrumentation Supervisor to join a major Waste-to-Energy project based in Port Clarence, Middlesbrough. This is a contract role offering full-time hours 45 per week Monday to Friday\nKey Responsibilities\n * \n Supervise and coordinate site activities for 2 x Pipe Fitters and a team of electricians\n * \n Manage daily workload, allocate tasks and monitor productivity\n * \n Ensure all works are carried out safely and in line with site procedures\n * \n Oversee installation, calibration and commissioning of instrumentation systems\n * \n Liaise with project management, engineers and other trades\n * \n Maintain high standards of quality and compliance\n * \n Carry out toolbox talks and safety briefings\n * \n Track progress against programme and report accordingly\nEssential Requirements\n * \n Proven supervisory experience within instrumentation or industrial/Construction environments\n * \n Time-served Instrumentation Technician / Engineer or strong hands-on background\n * \n Experience working on heavy industrial projects\n * \n Background on power, gas or large industrial sites\n * \n Ability to manage mixed trade teams (pipe fitters & electricians)\n * \n Strong understanding of health & safety regulations\n * \n Excellent communication and leadership skills\nDesirable\n * \n Triple STS / Supervisory CSCS Card\n * \n SSSTS / SMSTS certification\n * \n Previous experience on Waste-to-Energy or energy-from-waste projects
