We’re looking for an Interfaces Engineer – Marine & Tunnelling to join us at the CWA, working on one of the most ambitious infrastructure projects in the UK: Sizewell C.

As part of the Civil Works Alliance, you’ll be helping to lay the groundwork—quite literally—for the future of energy in the UK. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt nuclear power station, designed to generate low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, supporting a cleaner, more secure energy future for generations to come.

In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in the successful coordination and delivery of marine and tunnelling works during the preconstruction phase. From engaging with regulators and consent bodies, to supporting the engineering and delivery teams, your work will help ensure that everything from offshore intake structures to underground tunnel routes aligns with planning and environmental requirements.

You’ll be based between London and Suffolk initally, with regular engagement across the project’s delivery and regulatory stakeholders. Whether you’re reviewing licence conditions, supporting design compliance, or contributing to execution planning, your ability to navigate complex interfaces will be critical.

We’re looking for someone who understands marine construction and tunnelling from the ground (or seabed) up. You’ll be familiar with working under DCO requirements, engaging with bodies like the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) and Environment Agency (EA), and can bring practical experience from large-scale infrastructure projects.
