Interim Assistant Headteacher | South London | asap start | Day rate DOE
We are seeking an experienced Interim Assistant Headteacher to join a special school in South London. This is an interim position until the end of the academic year, with a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
Contract & Working Pattern:
Interim role until the end of the academic year, flexible start asap.
Full-time preferred, though 3-4 days per week can be considered depending on experience.
Role Overview:
Support existing SLT, focusing on curriculum leadership, quality of education, and strategic SEND provision
Complement internal leadership
Oversee teaching and learning practices, lesson assessments, and high standards across the school
Support, coach, and develop staff in a practical, hands-on capacity
Limited teaching commitment
Experience & Qualifications:
QTS or QTLS essential
Enhanced DBS (child and adult)
