Job Title: Interim Deputy Headteacher SEMH Location: North London area (exact location shared at enquiry stage) Contract: Interim daily rate Start: June 2026 Duration: Until July 2027 Working Pattern: Ideally full time, 4 days may be considered A specialist SEMH setting is seeking an experienced Interim Deputy Headteacher to join the senior leadership team on a long term interim cover. The Deputy Head will have responsibility across curriculum, teaching and learning, assessment and wider school systems. A key part of the role will be helping to develop vocational and technical pathways for older pupils, alongside leading middle leaders across areas such as teaching and learning, assessment and interventions. A small teaching commitment is expected alongside the leadership responsibilities. Candidate Profile The school is looking for a senior leader with previous experience in SEMH, PRU or Alternative Provision settings.
