Interim Engineering Manager North Yorkshire Interim assignment Inside IR35 £29.76 per hour (PAYE) The Role We are supporting a FMCG manufacturing site with the appointment of an Interim Engineering Manager to lead the site engineering function on a temporary basis. This role will take ownership of engineering performance, maintenance strategy, team leadership, and delivery of ongoing engineering and improvement activity. The assignment has no fixed end date and will continue in line with business requirements. The successful interim will be expected to make an immediate impact within a fast paced, high speed manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Provide hands on leadership to the site engineering team, including multi skilled engineers and contractors. Ensure engineering resource and shift cover supports a continuous operation. Take ownership of preventative and reactive maintenance strategies across production and utility assets. Drive rapid response to breakdowns, minimising downtime and production impact. Lead root cause analysis and implement long term corrective actions.
