This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in financial accounting, ideally with experience gained from a Big 4 firm. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting while supporting our finance team through a period of transition.As an Interim Financial Accountant, you will work closely with key stakeholders across the business, ensuring the financial records are accurate, compliant with all regulations, and in line with best practices. You will support month-end close processes, financial reporting, and assist with various financial projects.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review financial statements and reports in accordance with relevant accounting standards.Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts, including audit preparation and liaising with external auditors.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal financial controls.Assist with the preparation of financial analysis and management reports for senior stakeholders.Support the finance team with ad-hoc accounting and finance-related tasks as required.Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconcile accounts.Provide support in implementing improvements to accounting systems and processes.Key Requirements:ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualified, with practice-trained experience (ideally Big 4).Strong technical accounting knowledge, including experience with IFRS and UK GAAP.Proven experience in financial accounting roles, preferably within a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
