Job Title: Interim Financial Controller

Rate: £500 – £600 per day (Inside IR35) Duration: 12 Months Location: London (City) – 3 Days On-Site

Role Overview

Interim Financial Controller required to lead the finance function and ensure balance sheet integrity for a 12-month term. This role balances "hands-on" month-end delivery with the management of a small team and the year-end statutory process.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Control: Lead month-end/year-end close and maintain the General Ledger.

Reporting: Prepare Statutory Accounts (UK GAAP/IFRS) and coordinate external audits.

*

Insurance Operations: Manage technical premium/claims reconciliations and IPT/VAT filings.

*

Regulatory Support: Provide financial data for Solvency II Pillar 3 and QRT submissions.

*

Team Leadership: Oversee a small transactional finance team (AP/AR).

Requirements

Qualification: ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 5+ years PQE.

*

Sector: Mandatory experience in Insurance (London Market or General Insurance).

*

Skills: Strong knowledge of technical insurance accounting and statutory reporting.
