Financial Controller 6-month contract | Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) | Central London (Goodge Street) If you’re a qualified accountant with a passion for turning complex numbers into clear insights – and you’d like to do that in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment – this could be the ideal next step for you. Our client, a respected organisation in the higher education sector is looking for a Financial Controller to join their team during an exciting and busy period. Their offices are just a short stroll from Goodge Street station. About the role As Financial Controller , you’ll be overseeing controls, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring the organisation remains in good place financially across its two entities.
You’ll play a key role in: Producing accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements Leading cash flow management and ensuring liquidity Supporting strategic planning through budgeting and forecasting Coordinating smooth and timely audit processes Conducting in-depth financial analysis to identify opportunities and trends Guiding and mentoring a dedicated finance team This is a role where your strong analytical skills will be valued daily and where your working knowledge of financial statements (including year-end) will make a real impact.
