Interim Financial Planning Analyst

Our client is seeking a recently qualified accountant with proven analytical skills and commercial thinking. As interim FP&A we need someone who can slot in quickly, pick things up fast, and provide extra capacity on core FP&A work. You’ll help with forecasting, reporting, and improving processes and have strong modelling skills and clear communication are essential. Key Responsibilities Reporting & Analysis
Produce and improve KPI reporting. Prepare clear variance analysis with simple explanations of what’s driving results. Support rolling forecasting. Build and maintain financial models for new business opportunities. Check and challenge inputs from operational teams.
Process & Improvement Work
Help streamline reporting and planning processes. Spot issues, tidy things up, and suggest better ways of working.
What We Need
Solid FP&A experience. Advanced Excel and modelling ability including power query and power pivot. Able to get up to speed quickly and work independently. Straightforward communicator who can explain numbers clearly.
