A fast‑growing UK financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Interim Group Financial Controller to join the London team on a 6-9-month contract. This is a critical, delivery‑focused role, suited to a senior finance professional who has previously operated at Group FC level and can step in with pace and confidence.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and oversee group financial control, ensuring robust month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes
  • Ownership of group statutory accounts, consolidation and technical accounting matters
  • Ensure strong financial governance, internal controls and compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements
  • Partner closely with senior leadership, providing clear financial insight in a high‑growth environment


Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Group Financial Controller (or equivalent senior group reporting role) within financial services or banking
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including group consolidations and acquisitions
  • Confident decision‑maker with a pragmatic, hands‑on approach
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
