Interim Head of Digital

London (Hybrid)

We’re supporting a high-growth retail brand to appoint an Interim Head of Digital for a 3–6 month assignment, reporting directly to the CEO.

This role will provide immediate leadership across digital, trading and customer functions during a period of transition, with a focus on maintaining momentum and setting up for long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of digital trading performance (site, merchandising, CRO, trading calendar)
• Provide leadership across digital, CRM and brand touchpoints
• Ensure continuity across the customer journey (online and in-store)
• Identify and implement quick-win commercial improvements
• Support team leadership (c.6–8 reports) and stabilise structure
• Help define roadmap for the incoming permanent hire

Profile

• Experienced digital/e-commerce leader, ideally in retail
• Strong trading mindset with hands-on capability
• Able to quickly assess, prioritise and execute
• Comfortable operating at pace in a scaling environment

• Day rate dependent on experience
