We are seeking a confident and capable Interim Home Manager to lead a well-established elderly care home during a period of transition. This is a key appointment requiring strong operational oversight, clear leadership, and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care.


The Role


As Interim Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring regulatory compliance, team stability, and positive outcomes for residents. You will quickly assess current performance, identify priorities, and implement effective action plans where required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong, visible leadership to the care and clinical teams
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies
  • Oversee safeguarding, governance, and quality assurance processes
  • Support and develop the staff team to maintain morale and performance
  • Maintain strong communication with residents, families, and external professionals
  • Manage occupancy, budgets, and operational performance
  • Prepare for inspections and drive continuous improvement

About You


Experienced Care Home Manager with a strong regulatory background Proven track record of stabilising services and improving standards

  • Confident managing inspections and working with regulators
  • Commercially aware with sound financial oversight experience
  • Calm under pressure, decisive, and solutions-focused
  • Available at short notice for an interim assignment

Location

The role is based around Pudsey and is therefore commutable from Harrogate, Skipton, Settle, Ripon, Burnley, Colne, Bradford

Barnsley, Sheffield, Glossop, Doncaster, Selby, Goole, Leeds and surrounding areas
