Clacton Rate - Negotiable DOE Monday - Friday days, early finish Fridays.-Part time will be considered. Your new interim role: You will be joining a nationally known manufacturing business specialising in the production of a range of products used in the Windows and Doors industries and more.Due to a movement within the team and with some ongoing recruitment, the site is looking for an interim Health & Safety manager to assist them on a short-term interim basis.
Key Responsibilities & Duties: Promote a culture of safety in the workplace and perform regular site inspections to check compliance. Reviewing all risk assessments, method statements, COSHH assessments, work processes etc and ensuring they meet industry safety standards. Carry out toolbox talks and relevant training Ensuring safe installation of equipment and overseeing external contractors. Conducting in-house training sessions on health and safety awareness. Reviewing all work procedures and ensuring they meet industry safety / environmental standards. Preparing and filing reports for accidents and other safety breaches. Tracking incident metrics and applying findings.
This is just a summed-up list, and other duties will be required.
