Opportunity to join a busy in-house legal team for a Junior Lawyer with Privacy/GDPR and Compliance experience on an initial 6 month FTC basis with potential to go permanent.

Salary c£65-75k FTE.

Reporting to the General Counsel you will be responsible for:

• overseeing GDPR matters and implementing the compliance program
• identifying opportunities for improvement in managing GDPR and legal risk
• assisting on general legal compliance matters and projects
• Company Secretarial duties, keeping records and filings up to date, supporting the Company Secretary on investor relations matters, Board meetings
• advising the business on changes to regulatory frameworks and legislation
• extensive liaison with internal stakeholders and external counsel when required

To be considered for this role you will ideally be 2+ years PQE with experience gained either with a reputable law firm or in-house in a similar role. Knowledge of GDPR and related matters is essential.
