Start: ASAP | Contract Length: 6 months


We're supporting a global financial institution with the appointment of an interim Legal Counsel to join their Technology, Operations & Procurement legal team.


This is a fantastic opportunity for an interim tech-savvy commercial lawyer to step into a high-impact role supporting business-critical IT and transformation projects. You’ll be advising across a broad portfolio of third-party service, procurement, and technology agreements, working closely with the business, Procurement, IT Security, and stakeholders across EMEA and beyond.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating ICT and outsourcing contracts (cloud, SaaS, software licensing, cyber security, managed services etc.)
  • Supporting compliance with UK/EBA outsourcing guidelines and EU DORA requirements
  • Advising on supplier disputes, regulatory risk and data protection
  • Collaborating on global legal initiatives and supporting internal playbook development
  • Liaising with colleagues in Tokyo and the Americas on international contracting matters


About you:

  • Qualified lawyer with 5–7+ years' experience
  • Strong background in tech and commercial contracting, ideally in regulated environments
  • Confident advising on complex cross-border deals and emerging areas like AI regulation and operational resilience
  • Able to work independently with stakeholders across the business
