Job Description
Rutherford Cross is working with a growing tech business who is looking for a hands‑on Interim Management Accountant to support the finance team during a period of increased activity. This role suits someone who is confident managing end‑to‑end accounting processes, producing high‑quality management accounts, and preparing statutory accounts in a fast‑moving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts
Support statutory accounts preparation and audit requirements
Manage month‑end processes, including journals, reconciliations, and reporting
Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards
Provide clear financial insight to operational and leadership teams
Assist with process improvements and ad‑hoc finance projects as needed
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in management and statutory accounting
Strong technical accounting skills with a hands‑on approach
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a dynamic setting
Comfortable collaborating across teams in a tech‑driven environment
Fully Qualified Accountant
